Here’s how you can make the best possible use of that!
Good news, Chicagoans...and tourists and travelers in Chicago!
Apparently, the weather Gods (or, the natural elements, for those of you who don’t believe in God) have smiled on our city!
Reports suggest that Chicago can look forward to a ‘warm and dry spell’ over the week!
I’d personally prefer a ‘cool and dry’ spell but, I’ll settle for warm and dry.
Because that means we can all go out and about in our great city, taking in its sights and sounds and offerings.
Especially, if you’re still mourning the end of Sundays on State, this is a great chance to bury some of that sorrow doing some Chicago things that you dearly love.
Before I launch into my sermon of some of the things you can do in Chicago right now, taking advantage of the weather, here’s a quick dating tip…
Do you have a special someone who’s a meteorologist?
A spouse, a girl/boyfriend...anything along those lines?
If the answer is yes, visit this WGN report and study the graphic at the top. You’ll notice it’s peppered with weather details and lingo like wind speeds and temperature levels.
Try to remember a few details, like the ‘peak wind gusts’, or the ‘upper-level ridge’, and casually slip them into the next convo you have with your special someone that’s a meteorologist.
They’ll be impressed with how you’re taking an interest in what they do!
OK, dating advice done, now let’s head back to the main topic - the things you can do in Chicago this week.

Chicago has more than its fair share of museums, devoted to a wide variety of topics.
There are the usual choices like the Field Museum, the Shedd Aquarium, and the Art Institute...but if you’re looking for something offbeat, you can try out the WNDR Museum.
Get a magnificent view of the city
If you’re a Chicagoan, you know what I’m talking about.
For the non-Chicagoans...visit the Skydeck and 360 Chicago, both of which are open and offer majestic views of our city.
Enjoy some of Chicago’s finest deep dish pizza
Every Chicagoan knows there’s no such thing as too much pizza...not when it’s Chicago’s famous deep dish pizza.
If you’re transiting through the city, or visiting it, take my word for it.
Don’t skip the chance to sink your teeth into some of Chicago’s famous deep dish pizza.
For your very first Chicago pizza experience, I recommend Lou Malnati’s.
Match wits against an escape room (specifically, this one)
Did you know that Chicago has the #2 ranked escape room in the world?
Yep, I’m talking about ourselves - Fox in a Box.
Team up with family and friends and match wits against our escape rooms!
You’ve never played an escape room?
We’ll take you through the mechanics of it, and then you’ll find yourself raring to have a go at it.
Make your first time in an escape room truly memorable!
We’re located in the Dearborn Galleria, a short walk from Grant Park.
Go for a long walk

One of the best ways to break out of the Stay At Home regimen and whet your appetite is to go for long walks.
Comfortable temperatures and no significant wind (meaning a calm Lake Michigan) ensure that both the Lakefront Trail and the Riverwalk remain open.
Also open are Millennium Park and Lincoln Park Zoo.
Night to late night special - attend live musical performances
Nothing beats a night spent at one of Chicago’s music clubs, listening to classical music genres.
I recommend the Jazz Showcase and Buddy Guy’s Legends, both of which are open and packed with back-to-back performances.
