Groups have a couple of options when a player has not arrived by the game's scheduled start time.

Fox in a Box - Chicago strives to give all customers the very best escape room experience. As part of this, it is important that our guests are punctual so that everyone can start their scheduled games on time. Holding up a game's start time will delay follow-on games and this will negatively impact the experience of later guests.

Nevertheless we realize that sometimes a person can be stuck in unusually heavy traffic or public transit is interrupted or a range of other factors occur that are out of a person's control. In these situations, there are a couple of options that waiting group members can choose to do:

  1.  You can have your group wait until the person arrives. In this case, you will be losing time that you are in the room, as follow-on games must begin at their scheduled times.
  2.  Your (incomplete) group can decide to start on time. This allows those who were punctual to have the full hour experience in the escape room. When your tardy team member arrives, that person can join your game.
